In all foreign language courses students engage in the process of mastering the four skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing in the target language. Since individual demonstration of mastery through performance is the goal, students are required to participate actively each day. Students show a willingness to experience various aspects of the cultures studied. The modern foreign language courses reflect the standards at the national, state and local levels.
