Mrs. D.D. Hinton

Hello! I am D.D. Hinton, school counselor for the TEAM 2025. This will be my 19th year at Columbus East High School. I am a proud alumni and a board member of our Columbus East Alumni Association. I started as a Mathematics teacher and have been in the counseling department for the past 10 years. I look forward to working with your students as they start exploring opportunities after high school.

My husband Darren and I live in Franklin. We enjoy traveling with our friends and family. I have two sons, Kyle and Adam. Kyle is a 2015 graduate of Columbus East and was on the 2013 State Champion football team. Adam is a sophomore at Columbus East and a member of the Unified Track and Field team.
