John Sims

Hi, my name is John Sims, Academic Coach for Team 2025.  I am thrilled to be BACK at my alma mater (Class of 2006) in a brand new role!  This is my 9th year working in education.

I am looking forward to working alongside all of our amazing students and families and cannot wait to get the school year started!

A few things about me:

I was born and raised in the big city of Columbus, Indiana!  Graduated from Columbus East High School.  I  also coached football here for 9 seasons.  I love sports, music and of course spending time with my awesome family.  My wife Alaya and I have been married for 9 years, together we have 3 wonderful children, Jordan Grace (9), Wes (5) and Matthew (2).
